Quick update: I'm in Mexico!  The weather is gorgeous and the house I'm staying at is really nice.  Also, Guadalajara is not at all dangerous.  I walk home from school everyday by myself and feel very safe.  Everyone walks everywhere so I don't stand out and definitely don't feel like I'm going to be raped/robbed/kiddnapped. Also, for everyone who thinks I don't look Mexican, I blend in very well here!  About 30% of the people here have my coloring and facial features (hello look at my nose) so no one even realizes I'm a foreigner until I speak.  Also, no one speaks English- at all!  I live with 3 other Mexican girls who go to school at the UAG and none of them speak English so I'm getting lots of practice speaking.  One last thing because I'm out of time, uh I drink freshly squeezed juice everyday.  Papaya with lemon is my favorite although my morning oj is a close second.
